How many times has someone asked you how things are going and your answer was, “Good. Busy.” But what you didn’t say was anxious, overwhelmed, and stressed out. Wouldn’t it be nice to not feel so overwhelmed and still feel like you’re accomplishing something?

Simplicity feels like it’s the opposite of what we’re told success is. We measure our success by how busy we are. The more you do the more important you are. So to convince ourselves that we’re important and successful, we create a bunch of busy work.

CEO of Simplicity is a philosophy. It’s the belief that it gets to be

easy. It’s understanding all the moving pieces and having perspective on what’s realistic. From this philosophy, I’ve created a framework that helps you quickly go from overwhelmed to relieved so you can move forward with your project, work… life.

It starts with an inventory of what’s going on and getting clarity on why this is so overwhelming. Our ambitions are limitless, but our abilities are only human so we’ll need to get perspective on what’s real and true and what I call revenue-generating activities. This will help us have perspective to prioritize and streamline the tasks at hand. The result… relief. And when you feel better about the plan, you can actually do said plan.

Strategy Intensive

If you’re like me you’ve invested in hundreds of online courses and programs and coaches who all have a different million-dollar strategy. You’ve learned a lot and have excelled at taking all those strategies and adapting them to fit your style. Now you have a big elaborate plan. It’s beautiful, but it’s a lot.

I believe business isn’t hard, we make it hard. We make it hard by overthinking and overcomplicating things hence creating busy work for ourselves. The problem is that we’re so wrapped up in our own world that everything is a high priority. We can’t see the forest for the trees. With a Strategy Intensive we’re going lay everything out on the table, sort through it all, and figure out what stays, what goes, and what gets prioritized.   • To start I’m going to send you my Stalker questionnaire so I can stalk you on the internet. Then, we’ll schedule our 3ish hour Zoom call. You’ll want to be prepared to go over your whole business including client work, services, projects, team members, strategies, marketing plans, even P+Ls if you want. Bring it all. We’re going to sort through it all.

  • I’m not going to leave you high and dry to fend for yourself after our session. You’ll have 30 days of email and Chat support. I’m open to your preferred communication channel - Voxer, Slack or What’s App. But let’s pick one and stick with it.

  • Be prepared to verbal vomit. I’m going to do my research before our call with what I can find online. But you’ll need to catch me up on all the behind the scenes stuff - vision, mission, values, successes, pain points, bottlenecks, strategic plans, what you really want out of it all. We’re going to walk through my framework so that you walk away feeling relieved and like you can move forward.

  • A magic pill that instantly solves all your problems. Will you feel relief? Yes. But you still have work to do. It might be less work but work nonetheless. It’s not like we talk and magically the next day you make million dollars. It might feel like magic, but things won’t just magically appear.

Reality From Perspective

Being overwhelmed all the time causes a lot of anxiety, which in turn causes you to continuously spin out. And the spin-out is not helping anyone, especially you. Ask me how I know this. 

My CEO of Simplicity philosophy is the belief that it doesn’t have to be this hard. This framework is a tool designed to ground you so you can get perspective and actually get something accomplished. In this program, you’ll learn how to inventory and streamline your mile-long to-do list and overbooked calendar.

  • The CEO of Simplicity philosopy is a 6 part framework that we’ll explore over 4 weeks. Each group session is an hour-long deep dive into the framework with time for Q+A. You’ll have homework between sessions to start to integrate what you’ve learned. 

  • In this program, you’ll have access to me through a private Facebook group. I know, not another group but it’s the easiest platform for connecting that everyone has access to. I’ll be there to answer your questions, give perspective, and guidance on how to integrate the tool.

Business Management Monthly Retainer

You went into business because you do something really well, but that’s not necessarily running a business. This retainer is more than just a bookkeeper and less than a CEO. You are still the decision maker and drive the vision and mission. I’m here to support you in that vision and guide you through some of the boring running of the business stuff.

I’ve been a bookkeeper and business manager for 20 years and have experience in a wide range of different industries from online retail to manufacturing to marketing research services. This diverse background has given me a holistic approach to business that I use to streamline processes and make systems efficient.

  • Weekly stand-up calls to review, prioritize, catch up, problem-solve, and strategize

    • Invoicing

    • Payroll

    • Data entry

    • Cash Flow

    • Budgeting

    • Reconciliation

    • Clean up

    • Bill pay

    • P&L Analysis

    • Procurement setup with clients

    • Weekly and monthly reporting as needed

    • Client communications (what does this mean? Sending invoices, setting up procurement, company admin things)

This retainer is a flat monthly fee. Some months are more work while others are less and retainers start at $2,000 per month. Because this service is so time-intensive I only take a few select clients at any one time and spots rarely open up because I’ve been with the same companies for decades. Outside of the standard monthly deliverables, special projects will be reviewed and contracted as separate projects with a budget.

If a full monthly retainer is more than you need, I take quarterly bookkeeping clients where I reconcile, review, and clean up the books each quarter and do a review of the health of your company. This includes a consulting session to talk about your business planning ahead and how to keep things on track.
